The boys arrived back at the Harley-Davidson Europe Headquarters at 10:40 as expected and to rapturous applause and emotional whoops and cries of proud delight.
What an achievement... Our goal was to raise enough money to change someones life and we did just that. It only remains now to thank everyone that has had anything to do with raising this money (total to follow when it's all been counted). It doesn't matter what you have done - if you bought 1 raffle ticket, put 10p in a collection tin or given up your weekends and evenings to go out and promote the cause. You have done your bit and should be proud to have been a part of this effort.
Now for the riders...you have just done a great, great thing and you should be more than proud of what you have achieved. To have given your time to allow this all to happen was totally selfless and without this the whole thing could never have happened.
Finally...a massive thanks to everyone who has shown us their support in any way, from those who donated raffle prizes, those who helped out in the planning and the event on the day, everyone involved in providing us with great music, and everyone who bought raffle tickets or donated a few coppers or was involved in any way whether large or small...IT ALL COUNTS.
