Phil has been riding his 883R Sportster for 1 year.
He served in the RAF, leaving in 2002. During his 23 years service he spent time in the former Yugoslavia, the Falkland Islands, Ascension Island to name a few.
Being an ex-Serviceman he really wants to make a difference to the lives of his old colleagues and help in any way that he can. This is the opportunity that he needs and is looking forward to making that difference. |

Andy has been riding for 26 years now (rumour has it he started riding in 1903).
The opportunity came up to put all his riding experience to good use and show his support to the UK armed services and Help for Heroes.
Andy stated that it started as just an endurance ride and as more people started to get involved it has turned into a much bigger event which he hopes everyone will get behind to show their support. |

Tim's old TA unit from the 4th Battalion Duke of Lancashire regiment has recently served in Kabul. Teachers at his sons school are worrying about partners on operations in Afghanistan and it seems every month coffins are seen being unloaded at Lyneham. This all brought home to him how deeply involved our servicemen and women are and how much they have sacrificed and he wants to be able to show his appreciation and support in return.
Tim wants to get involved and combining raising money with travelling the length and breadth of Britain, he feels, is a great way to go about supporting this worthwhile cause |

Richard has been riding his Harley-Davidson Night-Rod for over three years and has thoroughly enjoyed every moment.
He works at Harley-Davidson Europe Ltd as a Finance Business Analyst and has been there for almost five years. When approached to take part in this ride he jumped at the opportunity. An endurance ride with colleagues, supporting a worthy cause and challenging himself was too good to miss.
He believes the ride will be a challenge, but nothing compared to what our servicemen have to deal with day to day.

David, a kiwi who has been in the UK so long he has lost his accent, well almost. Has had a bike licence since 16 and learned to ride on a Honda XR200. Currently riding a Street Glide.
When he heard about the ride for H4H he couldn't resist getting involved.

Paul and Tony
Owners of motorcycle transport company WE MOVE BIKES. Both of us are keen riders and looking forward to the challenge of the ride and the chance to get some money into the H4H charity. The only reservation we have about the ride is coping with Andy's jokes for 3 days!!!!

We also need to mention Tassi Raeburn (Web design) and Sofia Rees (Admin). Their help and continuing support is invaluable. |
